Details according to former PM Nawaz Sharif ISLAMABAD: Police have declared Nawaz Sharif innocent in the murder case of two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf activists.
Two activists were killed in clashes with police during the PTI sit-in. The current Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has filed a case against Nawaz Sharif in Pakistan. On the response submitted by the federal government to the Supreme Court in regards to the registration of the case, the petition was submitted to the Supreme Court. ۔
The order to file an FIR against the political administration is based on justice. Maintaining law and order is the responsibility of the administration. The administration showed restraint as much as possible, but the sitters violated the law by breaking the fence of the prime minister, parliament and PTV. The police said that no weapons were used in the operation by the police. In response, three people were killed in the clash on the highway, two people were killed by the demonstrators while one person was killed.
The government’s response stated that law enforcement agencies had to take action in view of the state’s writ and public responsibility. An FIR of the incident was filed on August 31. It was also said that the FIR was against facts and based on propaganda, the second case should have been included in the investigation of the same case. The written reply stated that the police arrested the people for violating Section 144 but the Islamabad High Court released all the arrested persons, in response to the Supreme Court’s request for relief.
